In order to progress to upper-division business courses, students must earn grades of C or better in all Basic Business prerequisite course requirements.
Admission to the B.B.A in Economics/M.S. in Finance accelerated program:
- ACCT 2113, ACCT 2123, FIN 2303 must be completed before applying for admission.
- A grade of C or better is required in FIN 2303 for accelerated BBA/MS students.
- During the third year, apply for admission to the accelerated program. A 3.00 overall GPA is required for admission to the accelerated program.
Undergraduate Major Requirements
Any 3000- or 4000-level ECON course will count in the Economics major grade point average unless otherwise specified, including additional hours taken to fulfill electives.
A maximum of six hours of transfer work will apply toward the major.

It is recommended students take either World Culture or Artistic Forms at the 3000/4000 level to fulfill the university requirement of one upper-division course outside the major from the approved University-Wide General Education.
