An internationally prominent faculty, state-of-the-art facilities and new technology combine to make the University of Oklahoma Health Campus a leader in education, research and patient care.
As one of only four comprehensive academic health centers in the nation with seven professional schools, the OU Health Campus serves approximately 4,000 students on the Oklahoma City and Tulsa campuses as well as locations throughout the state. OU Health serves as the state’s training facility for physicians, biomedical scientists, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and a wide range of allied health and public health professionals. OU Health is composed of the College of Allied Health, College of Dentistry, College of Medicine and School of Community Medicine, Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Hudson College of Public Health, and Graduate College.
Located one mile south of the State Capitol, the OU Health is the cornerstone of the 275-acre Oklahoma Health Center, a complex of 19 public and private health care institutions. Students and residents receive clinical training at on-site institutions, including University Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, Presbyterian Hospital, Dean A. McGee Eye Institute, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and other affiliated hospitals and clinics in Oklahoma City and throughout the state.
