Prerequisite: junior standing or permission of instructor. Examines the interplay between human behavior and the environment, both natural and built. Topics include place identity and place attachment, the cognitive hierarchy and human behavior, the influence of design on behavior, biophilia and behavioral inheritance, the psychology of crowding, environment and health, and research applications.
