The Business of Healthcare Undergraduate Certificate
The curriculum for the Business of Healthcare certificate is designed to support, among others, students who intend to pursue careers in healthcare such as physical therapy, pharmacy, nursing or medicine. The certificate requires 16 total hours and consists of 4 hours of core courses and 12 hours of guided electives. Students must have a 2.5 grade point average for admission to the program, a 2.5 overall GPA at the time they complete the certificate, a C or better in all classes counted toward the certificate, and must have a 2.5 GPA in classes counting toward the certificate.
- Core Courses (4 hours): B AD 1001 and HCB 3613/MKT 36131
- Lower-Division Guided Electives - Choose 2 from the following list of courses (6 hours): B AD 2113, MIS 2113, MGT 2013, MKT 2013, ACCT 2113, or ACCT 2123
- Upper-Division Guided Electives - Choose at least 2 from the following list of courses (6 hours): MIS 3213, MIS 4363, MKT 3013, MGT 3513, or HCB 3623/MKT 3623
Transfer courses will not be accepted to meet this requirement.
