Courses can be double counted towards a graduate degree and a graduate certificate. However, courses cannot be double counted towards more than one graduate certificate.

Graduate Certificate in Helping Skills in Human Relations

The certificate provides professionals in a wide variety of helping professions with the knowledge and skills to improve relationships, and to be effective and ethical helpers. The certificate requires 12 hours of coursework: H R 5003, H R 5463 (or H R 5633), H R 5453 and a counseling elective.

Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Diversity and Development

The certificate helps students develop the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the contemporary workplace. Students will learn how to develop human resources and address social justice and diversity issues in work settings. The certificate requires 12 hours of coursework: H R 5143, H R 5323, H R 5053, and one organizational elective.
